About The Connacht Hospitality Group
Our group comprises of The Connacht Hotel, the largest hotel in the west of Ireland, HYDE Hotel, a stylish hotel located in the heart of Galway City. The Residence, a boutique style hotel located on Quay Street and three licensed premises; the award-winning An Púcán located on Forster Street, M. Fitzgerald’s Bar located in Galway’s Latin Quarter, and the chic HYDE Bar on Forster Street. The Connacht hospitality Group also operate a 24-hour gym and leisure centre – Active 24 Fitness & Leisure, and late 2019 saw the welcome addition of the Galway Bay Golf Resort to the portfolio, with plans to open a 4 start luxe hotel on the resort called “The Hawthorn by Galway Bay” in early 2026.
The group also spans numerous other operations – including Galway Hooker Brewery. As a company, we are always striving to improve, develop, and grow so that we can serve our customers in reliable, new, and continually exciting ways.
