Network Galway held their annual Businesswoman of the Year Awards at the weekend. The Connacht Hotel team was delighted to see that our colleague and operations manager Natallia Chuyeva won the Employee Shining Star Award. It’s very well deserved recognition for one of our hardest working colleagues who demonstrates her knowledge and expertise daily with both our team members and guests here in the Connacht Hotel.

This year’s award ceremony, which was held virtually, was also a fundraiser for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute. Once again, this year the standard of finalists was exceptional, a great reflection of the standard of businesswomen in the county. Some of the other categories included, Emerging New Business, Creative Professional, Solo Businesswoman, and the Power Within Category. The finalists came from a diverse range of business backgrounds across numerous sectors.

Established in 1983 Network Ireland is a progressive, dynamic organisation, supporting the professional and personal development of women. Their membership is made up of a very diverse group of women, from budding entrepreneurs, SME owners, professionals and leaders in indigenous and multinational organisations to non-profits, charities, arts and the public sector. Network Galway have a strong voice and are interested in promoting diversity and equality, entrepreneurship and leadership development; collaborating with like-minded people and organisations.

Natallia will now go on to represent Galway in the National Finals in October this year.
