As we enter the final quarter of the year, we are so excited to announce that we have already helped to raise a whopping €78,000 for our incredible charities. 

A Trojan Group-wide Effort for Charities

Croí are the Connacht Hospitality Group’s partner for the year, while the rest of the Group’s businesses each have their own chosen charities.

HYDE Hotel is backing Cancer Care West, Residence Hotel and 1520 are getting behind Jigsaw, The Connacht Hotel are supporting Galway Hospice and Hometree, An Púcán are encouraging donations to Claddagh Watch Patrol, while Galway Bay Golf Resort have raised money for Croí through a Charity Golf Classic. 

We are delighted to have helped generate so much money for an array of incredible charities, and we are so proud of everyone who has played a part in guiding us close to the 70 percent mark of our year target. 

At the beginning of the year, we set ourselves an ambitious target for 2023 and it is so encouraging and rewarding to see that we are well on our way to achieving that number before the end of 2023. 

Generous Public Helping Charities

Across the Group, so many people have given up their free time to assist various efforts to raise money and awareness for each of these charities. 

Whether it has been the Croagh Patrick climb, the Sunrise Swim at Salthill Beach, the Spin Bike Challenge on Quay Street, or any of the several other endeavours, our teams have always stepped up to the plate. We’re so thankful to them for putting so much into each fundraising event. 

Of course, an enormous shout-out has to go to the generous public who have donated in their droves to our many fundraisers. Their unending selflessness is the gift that keeps on giving, and our charity partners are so thankful that they have contributed so much. 

Focused on our goal

We are delighted that our figure already stands at €78,000 but we are continuing to push so that we can reach the ultimate goal for our charities.  

The charities we are working with mean a lot to so many people – their vital services depend a great deal on people’s support, and we are only delighted to help. 

To that end, we have a great deal more planned before the end of the year; lots more fundraisers, lots more activities, and plenty more fun ways to help our charities receive the funds they need.
