Getting our teams back

We are working closely with our teams on returning to work and keeping you, our guests, safe in this new environment, which include:

  • Updated colleague training and certification
  • Staff temperature check at the start of shift
  • Social distancing operating procedures and signage
  • Guidance on the use of protective equipment as necessary
  • Hand sanitiser and disinfecting wipes available at high-touch points throughout all properties

Our commitment to cleanliness and wellbeing

We have a long-standing commitment to rigorous cleaning procedures which are now being expanded with COVID-19 protocols – many of which are already in place, and reflect the advice of the HSE and local public health authorities. Our Reception Areas

Reduced contact at check-in, touchless transactions, front desk screens, sanitiser stations, sanitised key-cards, paperless check-out.

Our Guest Rooms

Visible verification of sanitised items (e.g. glassware, remote control), reduction of in-room furnishings/high-touch items and new laundry protocols.

Our Public Spaces & Facilities

Additional deep cleaning of high touch surfaces, social distancing, ‘last cleaned’ charts, best practices for pools, fitness centres, changing rooms and lounges.

Swimming Pool

Our swimming pool at The Connacht Hotel will be open for hotels guest from July 1st in line with strict guidelines.

Food & Beverage

New standards and service approach to all food and beverage offerings, buffets, banquets, room-service and catering.
