Trad on the Prom

Taking place from May through September, Trad on the Prom is the dance spectacular you’ve been waiting to experience. Combining amazing musicians with incredible dancers, this thrilling show is a pulsating watch that’s sure to kickstart your summer fun.

It’s the ideal way to immerse yourself in a truly Irish show, featuring two hours of amazing performances that are sure to live long in your memory – plus, it’s all happening in the beautiful Salthill.

Galway Film Fleadh

Come July, it’ll be time to make tracks for the Galway Film Fleadh, featuring some of the most innovative, unique, and daring movies from Ireland and around the world.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience new and independent movies before they hopefully go on to wider releases. Taking place from July 9th to July 14th, this week-long festival showcases amazing dramas, comedies, think pieces, documentaries, and so much more.

So, grab your ticket and we’ll see you at the pictures!

Galway International Arts Festival

This year, the Galway International Arts Festival will take place from July 15th to July 28th. The line-up for GIAF 2024 is already spectacular with the full line-up confirmed in May.

Names like Stewart Copeland, Jess Glynne, Passenger, and so many more are already scheduled to take to the stage at the Big Top, and you can be sure any one of these shows would be a great way to make your summer stay truly special.

The Galway Races Festival

It’s impossible to think of the Galway summer without the Galway Races – and this year promises to be yet another amazing few days of racing action, head-turning fashion, and lively nightlife fun.

It’s always a cracking seven days of fun, whether you’re visiting the Ballybrit Racecourse or not (you definitely should) – and this year is no different.

Taking place from July 29th to August 4th, you still have time to pick out your favourite outfit for the occasion…and even more time to figure out which horse(s) to back.

Summer Sessions

Galway Airport is the place to be in August because the Summer Sessions are taking centre stage from August 9th to August 28th.

There are a whole host of incredible headliners taking to the stage over the two-week festival, including the legendary Fatboy Slim, Indi legends Two Door Cinema Club, iconic band The Waterboys, Irish stars The Coronas, and many more.

There are few things better than live music, and you’ll be spoiled for choice with the performers on show here.
