The Connacht Hospitality Group

The Connacht Hospitality Group are proudly partnering with Croí as their charity of the year for 2024 and 2025.

Croí do phenomenal work raising awareness about heart health, and the Group so the group were delighted to help them in their mission.

The Connacht Hospitality have raised funds for Croí through the establishment of “The CHG Apprentice,” and through the annual Golf Classic.

In 2024, The Connacht Hotel proudly raised €19,000 for the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), a national charity funding critical research programmes at the University of Galway. Their efforts have significantly improved breast cancer diagnosis, treatment options, and outcomes for those affected by the disease. We were honoured to support their mission and contribute to advancing life-changing research.

For 2025, we are excited to partner with Galway Hospice, a charity providing compassionate palliative care to patients and families across the region. Through this partnership, we aim to support their incredible work by raising awareness, funding, and engaging with the community. Together, we can make a meaningful impact, ensuring those facing life-limiting illnesses receive the care, comfort, and dignity they deserve.

In 2024, HYDE Hotel proudly partnered with the Galway Simon Community, supporting their efforts to ensure that everyone in our community has a safe place to call home. Through their relentless work, Galway Simon provides vital support to those at risk of or experiencing homelessness, and we were honoured to support their mission.

For 2025, we are excited to partner with the National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), a charity dedicated to funding vital research aimed at improving breast cancer diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes. Through fundraising events and awareness campaigns, we are committed to advancing life-changing research and working towards a future free from breast cancer.

In 2024, The Residence Hotel and M. Fitzgerald’s Bar proudly partnered with COPE Galway, supporting their essential services for people experiencing homelessness, domestic abuse, and isolation.

This year, we are continuing our commitment to community impact by partnering with Pieta, a charity dedicated to providing lifesaving support for those affected by suicide and self-harm. Through fundraising events and awareness initiatives, we aim to help break the stigma surrounding mental health and ensure support is always available.

An Púcán

In 2024, An Púcán proudly partnered with the Galway Rape Crisis Centre (GRCC), supporting their mission to reduce the impact and incidence of sexual violence and abuse, working towards a society that no longer tolerates these crimes. Through events like the Premier League Table Quiz, we raised vital funds for this important cause.

For 2025, we are excited to partner with Western Alzheimer’s, a charity providing essential care, support, and advocacy for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia. We are committed to raising awareness and support through our events and initiatives, helping to enhance the lives of those impacted by these conditions.

We look forward to raising much-needed funds through our efforts and activities throughout the year.
