Peter brings 30 years’ experience in Construction, Business & Hospitality.
He sets the direction for the company and works closely with the Leadership Team to drive performance and achieve results.

Group Director
John has over 40 years’ experience in Construction & Hospitality industries. His in-depth knowledge of our facilities and operations proves invaluable to the leadership team across all businesses.

Wayne has 30 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry and joined the Connacht Hospitality Group in February 2017.

Group Operations Manager
Conor joined the Leadership Team in 2023 after successfully holding a number of General Manager positions. He brings over 15 years’ experience in hotels, bars, and restaurants on both sides of the Atlantic.
Matthew Lohan
Group Company Accountant
A graduate of NUIG and ACCA member with significant audit experience, having spent several years working in a top 10 practice with a substantial focus on the retail and hospitality sectors.
Alan Rooney
Group IT Manager
Since joining CHGL in 2014, Alan has played a pivotal role in advancing the group’s technological capabilities, enhancing both guest experiences and operational effectiveness across the group.
Shane Walsh
Group Maintenance Manager
Shane joined Connacht Hospitality Group in October 2017. A qualified Quantity Surveyor with a Master’s in Facilities Management, Shane has overseen numerous renovations and ensures seamless building infrastructure operations.
